These terms cover the Sceptre Jiu Jitsu member app at app.sceptrejiujitsu.com. Using the app means you accept them.
What this app is
A companion app for people connected to Sceptre Jiu Jitsu: class schedule, instructional videos, member chat, and gear drops. It is not your gym membership. Signing up here does not enrol you in classes, and cancelling here does not cancel your membership — membership, billing, and the training waiver are handled separately at the gym.
Your account
You sign in with Google, so the security of your account is largely the security of your Google account. Keep it to yourself. Anyone can sign in and get the video library and schedule; chat requires the gym access phrase, which we give to members.
Use your real name, or at least a name the people you train with will recognise.
Conduct
Chat is a small room full of people who see each other in person every week. Behave accordingly. No harassment, no abuse, no spam, nothing illegal, and nothing you would not say on the mat.
Admins can hide messages, remove access to chat, or remove an account entirely. We would much rather have a word with you first, and normally will.
Videos
The instructional videos are Sceptre’s. You are welcome to watch them as much as you like while you have access. Do not download, re-upload, share the links outside the gym, or use them commercially.
They are instruction, not medical advice. Jiu jitsu carries a real risk of injury. Train within your ability, and follow what your coaches tell you in person over what a video shows.
Drops
RSVPs, poll answers, and preorders record what you intend to do. A preorder is not a completed sale — it tells us what to order and in what sizes. Anything involving payment is confirmed separately, and we will tell you the amount before you pay anything.
We try to fill every order but cannot promise a supplier will have your size. If something cannot be filled, you are not charged for it.
Availability
This is a small app run by a gym, not a service with an uptime guarantee. It may be unavailable, lose data, or change without notice. It is provided as-is. Do not rely on it as the only record of anything that matters to you.
Class times shown here come from our scheduling system and can change. The gym’s own schedule is the authority.
Ending access
You can ask us to delete your account whenever you want. We may remove access for anyone who breaks these terms, or when someone stops training with us.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will say so in the app rather than quietly editing the page.
